Chainsaw Man has stopped otakus around the world in their tracks. According to information on MAPPA 's channel , the first Chainsaw Man trailer surpassed 2 million views in less than 24 hours .
The success was due to the anxiety surrounding the production of the anime , which was scheduled for the launch of the event that would take place this weekend, June 27th.

Anime Synopsis:
In the story Denji is a very poor young man with a huge debt left by his father. Together with his chainsaw-wielding pet named Pochita , Denji earns money by doing various odd jobs, as well as hunting demons and even selling some of their organs.
Fujimoto launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018, finishing the first arc in December 2020 with 11 volumes.
Finally, as of October 2020 CSM had over 4.2 million copies in circulation.
