Chainsaw Man anime , based on the work of Tatsuki Fujimoto , will receive a film adapting the Reze ( Reze-hen ) arc from the manga, as announced at the Jump Festa '24 event this Sunday (17). Voice actress Reina Ueda will play Reze. The film is titled Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Pray Arc.

The anime premiered on TV Tokyo and five other affiliated channels, and has been available on Amazon Prime Video since October 2022. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. The anime received a Saturn Award nomination in the category of Best Television Series or Animated Special.
Synopsis
Denji is a young man who struggles to pay the debts left by his father after his death. To do this, he performs jobs and kills demons for the Yakuza. Furthermore, he has the help of his faithful dog, Pochita, a demon dog that he rescued. With the animal's chainsaw powers, the two are able to face some very powerful demons. This extraordinary partnership allows Denji to not only fulfill his obligations to the Yakuza, but also survive amid the supernatural challenges he faces.
Finally, Fujimoto ( Fire Punch ) debuted the Chainsaw Man manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018 and ended its “first part”, the “Kouan” (Public Security) arc, in December 2020. The second part of the manga, titled “Gakkou-hen” (School Arc), it began on Shueisha in July 2022. The manga has won Best Manga at the Harvey Awards for the past three years.
