The anime Chainsaw Man , based on the work of Tatsuki Fujimoto , will receive a film adapting the Reze arc ( Reze-hen ) of the manga , as announced at the Jump Festa '24 event this Sunday (17). Voice actress Reina Ueda will play Reze. The film is titled Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc.

The anime premiered on TV Tokyo and five other affiliated channels, and has been available on Amazon Prime Video since October 2022. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime in over 200 countries and territories worldwide. The anime received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Television Series or Animated Special.
Synopsis
Denji is a young man struggling to pay off the debts left by his father after his death. To do so, he performs jobs and kills demons for the Yakuza. He also relies on the help of his faithful dog, Pochita, a demon dog he rescued. With the animal's chainsaw powers, the two are able to face some very powerful demons. This extraordinary partnership allows Denji not only to fulfill his obligations to the Yakuza but also to survive the supernatural challenges he faces.
Finally, Fujimoto ( Fire Punch ) debuted the Chainsaw Man manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018 and ended its "first part," the "Kouan" (Public Safety) arc, in December 2020. The manga's second part, titled "Gakkou-hen" (School Arc), began on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ service in July 2022. The manga has won the Best Manga award at the Harvey Awards for the past three years.
