The anime Champignon no Majo ( Champignon Witch ) had early cuts of episodes 1 and 2 released before its official premiere in Japan. The adaptation is based on the manga by Natsuki Higuchi and features a delicate narrative marked by fantasy, loneliness, and restrained emotions.

With a premiere scheduled for January 8, 2026 , the series arrives with a one-hour special. The story follows Luna , a kind-hearted young witch who lives in isolation because she possesses a dangerous power. In episode 1, called "The Black Witch Luna Henri from afar . That same night, while drawing him, Luna is surprised when the image seems to smile back.




Meanwhile, episode 2, The Person of Destiny , shows Henri remembering the mysterious encounter and deciding to talk to Luna. Even when she claims to be "poison in human form," he maintains his calm demeanor. However, the arrival of the police changes everything, forcing Luna to flee. Furthermore, Claude , her familiar, warns her not to get close to Henri again.
Thus, the anime promises an intense, emotional, and visually striking start.
