The website also announced that Nana Mizuki will be singing the opening theme, while Ayahi Takagaki will sing the ending theme.

A preview screening of the anime's first episode will be held at Tokyo's Shinjuku ward on June 24, and the three main voice staff members, Aoi Yūki (Hibiki), Mizuki (Tsubasa), and Takagaki (Chris) will be in attendance.

Katsumi Ono, director of an episode of the first season and director of Hataraki Man and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, is replacing Tatsufumi Itō as director for this new season. Chief animation officer Satoru Fujimoto is also taking over the role of character designer from Satoshi Koike. Akifumi Kaneko is returning to write and oversee the scripts, and original character designer Dan Yoshii is also reprising his role at Satelight. Elements Garden is once again handling the music. Niconico and Funimation streamed the first season outside Japan. The new season will premiere in Japan on July 4th.
