A survey revealed that Brazilians' favorite Pokémon Charmander . The survey was conducted on the website The Toy Zone, which uses Google searches to show the most popular Pokémon in each country. Charmander also appears as the favorite in Chile and Peru.

The survey also indicated that Pikachu Charizard came in second, Onix came in last .

Finally, only the 151 creatures from the first generation, not all 898 that currently exist in the franchise.
