Capcom ended Tuesday (4) with big announcements at the Capcom Spotlight event. Among the main news, there are new characters for Street Fighter 6, details about Onimusha: Way of the Sword and the confirmation of Okami 2. The company also revealed a special bundle and discounts on games in digital stores.

Street Fighter 6 gets a crossover with Fatal Fury

The event began with news for Street Fighter 6. Capcom confirmed the arrival of iconic SNK characters such as Mai, Elena, Terry, and M. Bison. The update reinforces the company's commitment to expanding the game's roster with classic fighters from legendary franchises.

In addition to the new characters, gameplay improvements and balance adjustments were revealed, aiming to enhance the competitive experience.

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection arrives on Xbox

The Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics was released unexpectedly for Xbox, in what the industry calls a "shadow drop." Thus, the package brings together classic fighting games and arrives to fulfill the requests of the community, which had been waiting for its availability on the Microsoft platform.

The company has not released plans for new content in the collection, but its inclusion on Xbox increases accessibility for fans of the genre.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 arrives in May

Capcom also confirmed that Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will be released on May 16th. Among the titles in the collection are Project Justice, Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, and Power Stone 2. This announcement reinforces the company's strategy of revitalizing classic fighting games for new generations.

Fans of the franchise celebrated the reveal, especially because of the inclusion of Capcom vs. SNK 2, one of the most acclaimed titles in the genre.

Okami 2 is official and arrives in a special bundle

Another highlight was the confirmation of Okami 2. Capcom showed a new trailer and announced that Okami HD will be re-released in a special bundle alongside Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.

In addition, a demo of Kunitsu-Gami is already available on digital stores, allowing players to experience the title before its official release.

Onimusha gets a sequel and a remaster

The Onimusha franchise also had some news. A new trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword revealed details about the gameplay and setting of the title, scheduled for 2026.

Furthermore, Capcom confirmed a remaster of Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny, which will arrive on next-generation consoles in 2025. The announcement reinforces the company's interest in revisiting past classics and bringing new experiences to fans of the saga.

Resident Evil 2 Remake arrives on iOS

Closing the presentation, Capcom announced that Resident Evil 2 Remake is now available for compatible Apple devices. The arrival of the title on iOS expands access to one of the most acclaimed remakes in the franchise, now playable on mobile devices.

To celebrate the announcements, the company has launched promotions on its main titles in digital stores. Players can take advantage of discounts on the company's games for a limited time.
