The official X account of Cygames' manga website Cycomi has announced that author Bubu Chikuwa Senki ~Ore no Kawaii Chikyū Shinryaku~ will be getting an anime adaptation.

The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 8, 2025 , and is being produced by IMAGICA Infos (The Apothecary Diaries) and Imageworks Studio (Lockdown Zone: Level X). Digital Shokunin and RD are credited with assisting with the anime's production.
The team released a 30-second teaser trailer
The production team includes Satoshi Mizuno (My Life as Inukai-san's) as director and screenwriter. Morrigan (WAVE) as music composer. Risa Kozai is credited for backgrounds and cinematography, Yukari Omachi is the color key artist, and Keisuke Yagyu is in charge of sound production.
Dubbing cast
The publicity team has revealed some of the names of the dubbing team. Check them out below:
- Tomokazu Sugita voices the dog Chikuwa;
- Mayuko Kazama as Madoka Inumiya;
- Mutsuki Iwanaka as Banjiro Inumiya;
- Rie Hikisaka as Nene Inumiya;
- Shunichi Maki as the Geppler Alien.

The Cycomics website released the manga digitally on January 29, 2024. In the story, some animals on Earth are actually alien spies from outer space, planning invasions of Earth.
We follow the story of one of these alien spies, a Shiba Inu named Chikuwa .
