Monthly Comic Flapper magazine announced a new series of Yuki Hijiri's manga, Choujin Locke: Toki no Kodomo-tachi, which will begin in the next issue on June 5th. The story takes place after the destruction of Master Yuji, and the magazine promises that the manga will reveal "another page in the history of the galaxy." The original Choujin Locke manga was published in at least three different magazines from 1967 to 1989. The manga chronicles the adventures of an immortal figure in different periods throughout time. It inspired a film and three anime series (Choujin Locke: Lord Leon, Choujin Locke: Mirror Ring, and Choujin Locke: New World Battle Team). The April issue of Young King also published the first part of the manga's spin-off, titled Choujin Locke Gaiden: Ankoku no Kishi, in February. The story revolves around a group of mercenaries (The Dark Order) that was introduced in the original manga. The second part of the new manga will be published in the May issue of Young King.
