City Hunter – New film announced for the franchise

The official Twitter City Hunter franchise has announced that it will be getting a new film anime 's 35th anniversary .

A trailer has been released, listing the film as "coming soon." The video reveals and previews the ending theme song by TM Network , "Get Wild," which is the same theme song from the anime's ending.

The video also confirms that voice actor Akira Kamiya will return to play the character Ryo Saeba .

Tsukasa Hojo 's City Hunter manga ran from 1985 to 1991 and has 35 volumes. The manga has inspired four anime series, a film, and several specials.

The original anime premiered in April 1987, while the film City Hunter: Shinjuku Private Eyes premiered in Japan in February 2019.
