CITY THE ANIMATION New anime announced for 2025

Kyoto Animation has announced a new anime based on Keiichi Arawi manga City , titled CITY THE ANIMATION , which is set to premiere in 2025.

Therefore, the film is directed by Taichi Ishidate . The announcement also featured a teaser and a promotional image for the film:

The original City manga was serialized by Kodansha in Morning magazine, aimed at seinen audiences, from February 2016 to February 2021. The complete work has 13 volumes published in Japan.

Finally, the anime CITY THE ANIMATION will be directed by Taichi Ishidate, known for his work on Violet Evergarden and Beyond the Boundary.
