The official website of the Brazilian author “Yuu Kamiya” (Thiago Lucas Furukawa), the same author of “No Game, No Life” and “Tsubaki Himana”, announced that the novel Clockwork Planet will be adapted into an anime.
The light novel is set in fantasy and action where it takes place in a destroyed world that is then completely rebuilt with clockwork. The story follows a boy named “Naoto Miura” who unexpectedly meets an automaton girl.
Tsubaki Himana and Yuu Kamiya launched the novel with illustrations by Shino (Lance N' Masques) in 2013 and Kodansha will publish the 4th volume on December 29th. A manga adaptation will be released by Kuro in Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine.
