Clockwork Planet – Novel gets anime adaptation!

The official website of the Brazilian author “Yuu Kamiya” (Thiago Lucas Furukawa), the same author of “No Game, No Life” and “Tsubaki Himana”, announced that the novel Clockwork Planet will have its anime adaptation.

The light novel is set in a fantasy and action world that was destroyed and then completely rebuilt with clockwork. The story follows a boy named "Naoto Miura" who unexpectedly encounters an automaton girl.

Tsubaki Himana and Yuu Kamiya released the novel with illustrations by Shino (Lance N' Masques) in 2013 and Kodansha will publish the 4th volume on December 29th. A manga adaptation will be launched by Kuro in Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine.
