The official website of Brazilian author "Yuu Kamiya" (Thiago Lucas Furukawa), the same author of "No Game, No Life" and "Tsubaki Himana," announced that the novel Clockwork Planet will be adapted into an anime.

The light novel is set in a fantasy and action world that takes place in a world destroyed and then completely rebuilt using clockwork mechanisms. The story follows a boy named "Naoto Miura" who unexpectedly encounters a girl made of automatons.

Tsubaki Himana and Yuu Kamiya launched the novel with illustrations by Shino (Lance N' Masques) in 2013, and Kodansha will publish the 4th volume on December 29th. A manga adaptation will be launched by Kuro in Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine.
