Code Geass franchise has officially kicked off its 20th-anniversary celebrations, revealing a flurry of announcements. The main highlight is the confirmation of the new anime “Code Geass: Hoshi Oi no Aspal,” directed by Kazuya Nomura, with a script by Nozaki Mado, character designs by Rorua, and Agalmatta designs by Yoshi. In addition, the first key visual and logo have already been presented to the public.

The announcement took place during the Project “To 20th” , which began on December 7th. Meanwhile, fans await further details about this production, which promises to expand the franchise's universe even further.

On the other hand, the Disney+ exclusive series “Code Geass: Dakkan no Rozé” will be shown on Japanese TV starting in July. The story follows the mercenary siblings Rozé and Ash as they confront the Neo-Britannia Empire, five years after the events of “The Resurrection of Lelouch”. The series consists of 12 episodes, originally released in four parts in theaters.

In addition, the celebration includes an official exhibition in Tokyo (September) and Osaka (November) , and a special collaboration between Gundam Wing and Code Geass , which will result in a new manga adaptation by Tomofumi Ogasawara.

Finally, the musical “Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch – Seidō ni Junzuru Kishi 2” has received new artwork and performance dates in Osaka and Tokyo. Meanwhile, the official YouTube channel will release all 50 episodes of the classic series for free starting December 28th, thus marking the beginning of the celebrations.
