It was in the March issue of Houbunsha 's Time Kirara Max that the manga Comic Girls ( Komikku Gāruzu ) by author Kaori Hanzawa will end in the April issue of the magazine on February 17th.

Synopsis:

The story takes place with 4 high school students who are in Bunhousha magazine's dormitory: Kaoruko, also known as Kaos. Kaoruko Moeta (Artistic pseudonym: Chaos) is a 15-year-old student who is also a mangaka, specializing in 4-koma comedy! She moves to a mangaka girls' sorority, where she meets Koyume (shoujo manga), Ruki (romance manga) and Tsubasa (shounen manga). Together, they spend several nights trying to finish their work on time! The fun day-to-day life of the mangaka republic is about to begin!

The manga debuted as a guest series in the magazine in 2014, and the series' regular serialization began later that year. Houbunsha published the manga's first compiled volume in 2015 and will publish the ninth volume on March 27.

Finally, an anime adaptation of the manga premiered in April 2018. Crunchyroll streamed the anime when it aired in Japan.
