NBC channel confirmed the production of the pilot episode of Constantine for TV, Constantine HQ of the character created by Alan Moore , Steve Bissette and Jamie Delano , with script and executive production by David S. Goyer and Daniel Cerone , the series will follow John Constantine , a enigmatic and irreverent con artist who becomes a supernatural detective and is forced to defend humanity against the forces of the beyond. There are still no details about the cast of the series, news will be released soon.
Constantine , created in 1985, was initially a recurring character in DC Comics ' Swamp Thing Saga" before getting his own comic book series. He was brought to cinemas in 2005, in the role played by Keanu Reeves .
