15 years ago, a hyperspace “portal” appeared in the Pacific Ocean, and the portal connects to a mysterious world “Leto Semani”, where fairies and goblins live.
Now, more than two million immigrants from both worlds live in the city of Sun Teresa. This is the world's newest "Street of Dreams." However, many crimes occur in the shadow of this chaos: drugs, prostitution, and arms trafficking.
There are detectives who protect the people of Sun Teresa. Officers Kei Matoba Kay and Tiana are different in gender, personality, and even the worlds they were born into. When the two meet, the case happens.
Cop Craft: Dragnet Mirage Reloaded began publication in November 2009 with illustrations by Range Murata (LAST EXILE, Shangri-La). This will be Shoji Gatoh's third work to be adapted into an anime after Full Metal Panic! (2002-2018) and Amagi Brilliant Park (2014).
Under the title Dragnet Mirage, the original work was published by Takeshobo's Zeta Bunko in two volumes with illustrations by Rokuro Shinofusa from 2006 to 2007. The novel was then transferred to Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko and was re-released with the new title, Cop Craft: Dragnet Mirage Reloaded, undergoing several changes, including Tirana's appearance, from adult to teenager.
The 6th volume was published in October 2016 and the 7th will be released in Summer 2019.
