Synopsis of Fruits Basket:
The story follows Tohru Honda, a 16-year-old student who struggles to live alone after the death of her beloved mother. While her grandfather's new house was under renovation, Tohru needed to find a temporary place to live. However, she preferred to live alone instead of living together with her friends. She sets up a tent near the land of the mysterious Soma clan. When the house's owners discover that Tohru has been living alone, they invite her to live with them. Since then, she has lived with her classmates, the charming Yuki and the temperamental Kyo, and the head of the house, Shigure. Furthermore, she discovers that the members of the Soma family keep a big secret: they transform into Chinese zodiac animals when hugged by people of the opposite sex.
