Cross Angel
The new anime from studio Sunrise (Fairy Tail, Escaflowne) has received a new trailer. The project will be called Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryū no Rondo (Cross Ange: Rondo of Angels and Dragons). The series is also scheduled to arrive on local channels in Japan Tokyo MX, Mainichi Hoso, TV Aichi and Nippon BS starting in October.
Because humanity has acquired vast amounts of data technology—called "Mana"—the human race is able to subdue all wars, famine, pollution, and other problems on Earth using its power, which is akin to magic. Earth has achieved the utopia of complete peace, and it doesn't want it.
Angelize, the first princess of the Misurugi Empire, was a princess. Like everyone else, she had no desires or worries. She was celebrated by the people of the empire and was supposed to wear the crown. However, she realizes the shocking truth that she is a Norma. "Norma": an irregular existence who cannot use Mana and is treated as heretics and as "things" rather than people. With everything stolen from her, she isolates herself on a remote island.
