The Crunchyroll Anime Awards has officially confirmed the date for its 10th edition. The global ceremony will take place on May 23, 2026 , live from Tokyo, celebrating a landmark year for anime on streaming and in theaters.

The nominees will be revealed on April 2nd , which also marks the opening of worldwide fan voting. In total, the awards encompass 32 categories , including series, films, creators, and performances that stood out in 2025.
As in previous years, Sally Amaki and Jon Kabira return as the main hosts. Meanwhile, the global pre-show will be hosted by Lauren Moore and Tim Lyu.


Among the musical highlights, singer Yoko Takahashi will give a special performance in honor of the 30th anniversary of Neon Genesis Evangelion , performing "A Cruel Angel's Thesis ." In addition, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra , conducted by Hirofumi Kurita, will present new symphonic suites on stage.

Therefore, with its return to Japan and a total focus on the fans, the Anime Awards 2026 promises a historic celebration for the otaku universe .
