Crunchyroll has confirmed its presence at Anime Friends 2025. The event will take place from July 3rd to 6th in the Anhembi District of São Paulo. This year, the company will once again bring a themed booth with exclusive activations and the premiere of the first two episodes of the anime Gachiakuta, directly at the event.
Crunchyroll's participation in 2025 is expected to further strengthen its connection with Brazilian audiences, offering a complete in-person experience that goes beyond streaming.

Crunchyroll will exclusively show Gachiakuta during the event
Crunchyroll's main highlight this year will be the exclusive screening of Gachiakuta, the anime officially arriving on the platform this season. The Anime Friends organization will screen the first two episodes on the Ultra Stage on Friday, July 4th, at 6 PM. However, seating is limited, so attendees should arrive early to secure a spot.
In addition to the exhibition, there will be an immersive area inspired by the anime universe, allowing visitors to explore settings and elements of the new production in an interactive and visually striking way.
The “A Casa do Anime” booth will feature activities, gifts and prizes.
Named The House of Anime, the Crunchyroll booth will feature a series of activities to engage the public throughout the five-day event. Highlights include the Mega Fan Quiz, which will challenge visitors' knowledge of anime. Top-ranked participants will receive exclusive gifts and prizes, reinforcing the interactive nature of the experience.
The space will also feature information panels, themed photo opportunities, and collectibles such as posters and stickers of popular titles on the platform.
Crunchyroll strengthens ties with Brazilian audiences
Crunchyroll's presence at Anime Friends reinforces its strategy of connecting with its Brazilian fan base. In addition to the event, the company is investing in simultaneous releases with Japan, licensed products, partnerships with publishers and film distributors, and an active presence on local social media.
According to the company itself, the goal is to offer Latin American audiences access to the best anime experience, whether through the streaming platform or at in-person events like Anime Friends.
