Crunchyroll has officially revealed the production of an anime inspired by the award-winning game Ghost of Tsushima , developed by Sucker Punch Productions . The new series adapts the multiplayer “ Legends ”, which combines elements of Japanese mythology with folk tales.
This announcement marks an ambitious collaboration between Aniplex , Sony Music , PlayStation Productions and Crunchyroll , cementing Sony's commitment to expanding its successful franchises.
The anime was produced by the studio Aniplex , responsible for iconic titles such as Demon Slayer , Solo Leveling and Sword Art Online . The direction will be in the hands of Takanobu Mizuno , while the script will be written by Gen Urobuchi , from NITRO PLUS. Therefore, the animation is by studio KAMIKAZE DOUGA , known for its visually stunning work.
