The trailer for the anime The God of High School has been released by Crunchyroll.
The anime The God of High School is one of the first Crunchyroll Originals and will premiere on Crunchyroll in July.
Here's a summary of the characters:
- Tatsumaru Tachibana as Jin Mori. A sixteen-year-old boy whose taekwondo, which he learned from his grandfather, makes him invincible. Nothing is more important to him than being the best fighter of all, and his current record of 299 fights is 297 wins and 2 draws. He decides to participate in the God of High School tournament, an interdisciplinary martial arts competition, after suffering the first defeat of his life against Judge R, one of the tournament judges.
- Kentarō Kumagai as Han Daewi. One of the "Mad Cows," a duo that controlled the entire Gangnam area. He works part-time to pay for his partner's medical bills, who fell ill with an incurable disease, but the part-time job for high school students is barely enough to cover daily medical expenses and doesn't cover a cure. He joins the GOH after being told he can save his friend if he wins.
- Ayaka Ohashi as Yoo Mira. The 25th Master of the Moonlight Sword Style. She pretends to be a frail high school student, but has the strength to easily overpower an entire group of delinquents in a fight. She prefers robust men because she was told she needs to marry a man strong enough to help her resurrect her family's sword style. For this reason, she is participating in the GOH to find a husband.
