According to the Night City Wire , which presented news about the Cyberpunk 2077 , CD Projekt RED announced a new Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime Trigger studio and Netflix .
According to the information, this anime will feature a story independent of the game, but set in the same universe, and its mission is to present not only the world of the game but also the entire genre for those who are unfamiliar.
The chosen studio, Trigger, which is about to turn 10 years old, is responsible for titles such as Kill la Kill , Little Witch Academia , Darling in the Franxx and BNA: Brand New Animal .

Finally Cyberpunk Edgerunners is scheduled for 2022. The game will be released for PlayStation 4 , Xbox One and PC on November 19, 2020.
