The new anime Cyborg 009: Nemesis has revealed a new cast member, main staff, and a projected summer premiere date. The production adapts the classic manga by Shotaro Ishinomori, originally published in 1964 in Weekly King Magazine .
In addition, voice actor Yūichi Nakamura will play the character Graviton. The anime will be streamed later this summer . Hideki Ambo is directing at studio Arect, with a script by Atsuhiro Tomioka, known for his work on Pokémon.

The character design is by sanorin, while the script also features collaboration from CHARATEX. The soundtrack brings a nostalgic element with the song "Taga Tame ni," performed by Kyoko of the band Barbee Boys. The song originally premiered in the 1979 anime.

The classic Cyborg 009 story returns
Cyborg 009 is an action and science fiction manga created by Shotaro Ishinomori. The plot follows the Black Ghost organization, which transforms humans into cybernetic soldiers to maintain global wars. However, nine cyborgs rebel and begin fighting against their creators.
Finally, the work has received numerous adaptations over the decades, including TV series in 1968, 1979, and 2001, as well as films and recent projects such as 009 Re:Cyborg (2012) and Call of Justice (2016). New spin-off manga also continue to expand the universe.
