Dagashi Kashi, an original work by author Kotoyama, is scheduled to premiere on January 7, 2016, on TBS and then on other channels in Japan. The official Dagashi Kashi website has also been updated and released the full trailer for the anime.
The story follows Kokonotsu, who refuses to inherit a rural sweet shop from her family. One day, a girl named Hotaru, who is obsessed with sweets, appears in Kokonotsu's life.
Shigehito Takayanagi (Tokyo ESP) directs the series at Feel. Studio, with script supervision by Yasuko Kamo (Galaxy Angel A, Tokyo ESP). Kanetoshi Kamimoto (Burst Angel, Taishō Baseball Girls., Mushi-Uta) is the character designer.
