Kadokawa has released the first promotional video for the anime Dai Shogun Robot (Fūun Ishin Dai Shogu). The video features the anime's opening theme, "Tamashii RISES," sung by Kyoco.
Tetsuya Kakihara narrates the video as his character Keiichiro Tokugawa, who says, “ A man whose goal is to unite a Japan that has never reformed sets his plans in motion. ” At the end of the video, he shouts, “ This is the dawn of Japan !”
The anime blends action, romance, and robots in a parallel world of Japan where the Meiji Restoration never happened. Directed by Takashi Watanabe (Shakugan no Shana, Slayers). Premieres April 9th.
