Synopsis
The story of Dance Dance Danseur revolves around Junpei Murao, who has been fascinated by ballet since childhood. In his sophomore year of high school, shaken by his father's death, he decides to become more "manly," giving up his dreams. Although still deeply interested in ballet, he dedicates himself to the martial art of Jeet Kune Do and becomes very popular in his class. One day, however, he meets Miyako Godai, a new classmate who has just moved in. Her mother runs a ballet studio and, noticing Junpei's interest in ballet, invites him to dance with her.
The project marks the first time that a manga by author Asakura has received an anime.
George Asakura Dance Dance Danseur manga Shogakukan 's Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine in 2015. The 20th volume was released in April of last year.
