In episode 11, Jiji returns to Momo's house to seek Seiko's help in an attempt to get rid of an evil spirit that is haunting her residence. It's at this point that the series begins the gripping Haunted House Arc .
Jiji first appeared in the anime in a flashback to the opening episode, as one of the boys who picked on Momo. Furthermore, he has a special connection with the protagonist: she was his first childhood crush, although he never knew it. Unfortunately, the two lost touch when Jiji moved away, making this reunion even more significant to the plot.

Synopsis:
The story of the anime Dandadan follows a nerd who faces spirits and aliens competing for his “family jewel”. And who better to help than your high school crush and a spiritual grandma?!
