Dandadan continues to surprise with its animation and story, winning over more and more fans. The trailer for episode 3 revealed its release date, making fans even more excited.
In the episode, Okarun is transformed by Turbo Baba's (Grandma Turbo) curse and loses control of his power, going into a state of uncontrolled rage. However, Momo's grandmother Hoshiko, who is a powerful medium, appears in time to save them. To break the curse, Momo and Okarun end up challenging Turbo Baba in a kind of “tag”. Before the big battle, Hoshiko orders them both to undergo special training. But, during training, Turbo Baba appears in front of Momo, starting a new confrontation.
Therefore, episode 3, 'Granny vs Granny Clash', of Dandadan premieres on October 17, 2024, at 1:00 pm (Brasília time), on Crunchyroll . Additionally, the anime will be streamed on Netflix .
Dandadan Synopsis:
The story of the anime Dandadan follows a nerd who faces spirits and aliens competing for his “family jewel”. And who better to help than your high school crush and a spiritual grandma?! Momo Ayase and Okarun disagree about the paranormal. But in this quest to prove who is wrong, secret passions and paranormal battles arise! Momo befriends Okarun, a UFO fanatic at school. While Momo believes in spirits, Okarun thinks the opposite. Although to resolve it, they decide to visit a UFO hot spot and a haunted tunnel!
DanDaDan is based on a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu. It has been serialized on Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ app and website since April 2021.
