Events of episode 8
Dandadan Season 2, Episode 8, finds Okarun and Aira facing off against the tulpa musicians. Initially, they're at a disadvantage against their enemies' rhythmic powers, but with Grandma Turbo's advice on how to fight with the right beat, Okarun awakens a new energy.
Using the rhythm of the song HAYASII , he manages to save Aira and defeat the tulpas. Meanwhile, at Momo's house, Manjiro insists that Jiji must be exorcised. Soon after, Okarun returns, ready to face the Evil Eye and resolve the situation once and for all. The episode ends setting up the long-awaited reunion.
What to expect from episode 9 of Dandadan
But there's no respite. Okarun asks Jiji to leave and makes it clear that he wants to personally deal with the Evil Eye. Even though he hates the yokai for attacking Momo, he respects the fact that Momo, Jiji, and Seiko have accepted him as part of the family. Determined to protect this bond, he promises to fight on their behalf. Jiji hands over the responsibility to Okarun, and Aira throws cold water on him, bringing the yokai back. The episode ends with the rematch: Okarun vs. Evil Eye – round two!
