On his blog, Maplestar detailed the animation process:

Hello everyone! Happy shortest month of the year!

Here are some more in-progress images from the "Dandadan" and "Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian" . As you can see, both are well underway. Many of the Dandadan Marin x Gojo animation is just beginning, although it will be interesting to see how the official series will conclude in March. I hope I can provide a fitting tribute to this incredible series!

The reception to the February Lewd Spice God Poll was amazing, and I loved reading everyone's responses! I'll be doing even more polls in the future, and I'll be opening more of them to different levels of support, so stay tuned. My next question will probably be about which specific characters you'd like to see.

However, the animator did not make clear the exact release date of the Dandadan animation , but he assured that the coloring process is well advanced.

Therefore, the talented animator has been winning fans around the world with his animations aimed at a more mature audience. With a portfolio full of memorable characters, such as the enigmatic Makima from Chainsaw Man, the cunning Yor Forger from SPY x FAMILY, and the charming Marin Kitagawa from Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru, Maplestar has solidified his place as a prominent artist in the contemporary animation scene.

Although some question his choice to dedicate himself to producing animations in this style, the success he has achieved in this niche is undeniable.
