Dandadan Season 2 has a confirmed premiere date

The official website for the anime Dandadan second season on Thursday, the 12th . The first trailer reveals the premiere date and opening , and the second the ending .

Crunchyroll and Netflix will distribute the new season worldwide, which premieres on July 3 , 2025. One of the new trailers reveals the opening, with Aina The End singing “Kakumei Dōchū” See below:

Anime production

Science SARU continues to produce the anime. Fūga Yamashiro and Abel Góngora (storyboarder and unit director for the first season) are directing this new season. The voice acting team announced the news that Mutsumi Tamura will play Jashi (Evil Eye) .

The first season premiered in Japan on October 3rd . Netflix and Crunchyroll began streaming the anime worldwide on the same date. Viewers can watch the anime dubbed and subtitled, as each streaming service has produced its own dub.

Synopsis of Dandadan

Yukinobu Tatsu, the manga's creator, has been serializing the series on Shueisha 's Shonen Jump+ since April 2021.

This is a story about Momo, a high school girl from a family of spiritual mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic. After Momo rescues Okarun from being bullied, they begin to talk. However, an argument ensues, as Momo believes in ghosts but denies the existence of aliens, and Okarun believes in aliens but denies the existence of ghosts.

To prove to each other that their belief is real, Momo goes to an abandoned hospital where a UFO was sighted, and Okarun goes to a tunnel rumored to be haunted. To their surprise, each encounters overwhelming paranormal activity beyond comprehension. Amidst these hardships, Momo awakens her hidden power, and Okarun gains the power of a curse to overcome these new dangers! Will their fateful love begin too?
