Dandadan Season 2 has a confirmed debut date

The official anime website Dandadan revealed on Thursday, 12, two new trailers for the second season of the series. The first trailer reveals the release date and the opening closing song .

Crunchyroll and Netflix will distribute the new season worldwide, which opens on July 3 , 2025. One of the new trailers reveals the opening, with Aina The End singing “Kakumei Dōchū” .

Wurts will sing the new closing song “Doukashiteru”. Check out the trailer with an unprecedented stretch of the theme:

Anime production

Science Saru studio remains responsible for the production of the anime. Fūga Yamashiro and Abel Góngora (storyboarder and unit director in the first season) direct this new season. The voice acting team has announced the news that Mutsumi Tamura will play Jashi (Evil Eye) .

The first season premiered in Japan on October 3 . Netflix and Crunchyroll began transmitting the anime around the world on the same date. Spectators can watch the anime dubbed and subtitled, as each streaming has produced their own voice acting.

Dandadan's synopsis

This is a story about Momo, a high school girl who comes from a family of spiritist mediums, and her classmate Okarun, a occult fanatic. After Momo rescues Okarun to be intimidated, they start talking. However, a discussion follows between them, as Momo believes in ghosts, but denies the existence of aliens, and Okarun believes in aliens, but denies that ghosts exist.

To prove to each other they believe is real, Momo goes to an abandoned hospital where a UFO has been spotted and Okarun goes to a tunnel that, according to rumors, is haunted. To his surprise, each of them finds overwhelming paranormal activities that transcend understanding. In the midst of these difficulties, Momo awakens his hidden power and Okarun gains the power of a curse to overcome these new dangers! Your fateful love starts too!?
