The anime adapts the manga Dandadan by author Yukinobu Tatsu. The production team has already been announced; here are the names:

What to expect from the second season of Dandadan?
Several scenes have already been released in trailers and teasers, and we can see Okarun, Momo , and Jiji facing new enemies and discovering new powers. The fight sequences are intense and dynamic, just like in the first season.
Just like last year, Dandadan will present the first three episodes of the new season before the official TV premiere. For fans eagerly awaiting it, it's worth remembering that Crunchyroll and Netflix have already confirmed the streaming of the second season, which premieres on July 3, 2025.
The anime Dandadan follows a nerdy boy who battles spirits and aliens in a fight over his "family heirloom." And who better to help him than his high school crush and a spiritual grandma?! Momo Ayase and Okarun disagree about the paranormal. But in their quest to prove who's wrong, secret passions and paranormal battles emerge! Momo befriends Okarun, a UFO fanatic at school. While Momo believes in spirits, Okarun thinks the opposite. To resolve their differences, they decide to visit a UFO hotspot and a haunted tunnel!
