A new French trailer has just revealed never-before-seen scenes from the premiere of the second season of the anime Dandadan . The series will have an early theatrical release.

In the video, we see Okarun , Momo , and Jiji facing enemies in intense fight sequences, demonstrating not only their skills but also the visual evolution of the animation. Just like last year, Dandadan will present the first three episodes of the new season before the official TV premiere.
As announced, the theatrical release will take place in Asia (excluding Japan) on May 30th via Muse; in North America on June 6th, distributed by GKIDS; and, surprisingly, in Europe, starting June 7th, through ADN (Animation Digital Network).
Dandadan: Season 2 release date
While fans eagerly await, it's worth remembering that Crunchyroll and Netflix have already confirmed the streaming of the second season starting July 3, 2025 in North America. The anime adapts the manga Dandadan , by Yukinobu Tatsu, published on the Jump+ platform.
The anime Dandadan follows a nerdy boy who battles spirits and aliens in a fight over his "family heirloom." And who better to help him than his high school crush and a spiritual grandma?! Momo Ayase and Okarun disagree about the paranormal. But in their quest to prove who's wrong, secret passions and paranormal battles emerge! Momo befriends Okarun, a UFO fanatic at school. While Momo believes in spirits, Okarun thinks the opposite. To resolve their differences, they decide to visit a UFO hotspot and a haunted tunnel!
