During the event celebrating the 30th anniversary of Dengeki Bunko, it was announced that the anime “ Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) ” will be animated by the JC Staff studio.

Synopsis
The story centers on the relationship between Himari Inuzuka and Yū Natsume, flower lovers who vowed to be friends forever during middle school. They spend their time together happily, even throughout high school. However, when Yū's first love reappears in his life, their relationship gradually becomes more chaotic, and Himari and Yū's friendship slowly blossoms into something more.
"Nanana" then launched the light novel series with its first volume in January 2021, illustrated by PARUM. The fifth issue of the novel was released by Kadokawa last Wednesday. Kamelie also launched a manga adaptation in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine in August 2021. Finally, Kadokawa published the first volume of the manga on May 9, 2022.
