The film is an adaptation of Yuichiro Higashide Date A Live Fragment: Date A Bullet, based on the Date A Live franchise.
Jun Nakagawa (episode director for Killing Bites, Saki Episode of Side A) is directing the anime at Studio Geek Toys (Plunderer, RErideD) . Novel author Yuichiro Higashide (Gakkou-Gurashi, Fate/Apocrypha) is writing the script.
