Kadokawa has released another promotional video for the anime , its second season. The video features the anime's opening theme: "Trust in You" by the group sweet ARMS. The video was shown at the AnimeJapan 2014 event.

The original story by Kōshi Tachibana that began to be released in 2011 and follows Shido Itsuka who meets a young woman named “Tohka”, the only problem is that she was the cause of a cataclysm that 30 years ago destroyed a large part of humanity.

The second season of Date A Live premieres in April.
