Through social networks, the manga Dead Account ( Deddo Akaunto ), by author Watanabe, had its adaptation for anime announced on Thursday (13).

Dead Account Synopsis:
The manga takes place in a world where ghosts also inhabit the internet, following the tradition that spirits remain in places to which they have strong attachment. However, the story revolves around Sōji Enoshiro, a 15 -year -old boy who also makes streams under the name "Airingo". It conveys deliberately violent, sensational and provocative content to generate reactions and make money, but all with the purpose of paying the medical expenses of your younger sister. In real life, he is a simple boy who loves to eat pudding and loves his sister, whom he would do anything, until he went to hell and back. Once, while online, he is attacked by a ghost who inhabits the virtual world, which leaves him spiritually awakened. He is recruited from the Miden Academy, a school specializing in training exorcists who work in the digital world.
Watanabe and Okushō launched the Kodansha Bessatsu Real Account at Kodansha in February 2014, and ended it in November 2019. Watanabe ( Kono Kanojo Wa Fiction Desu ) made the manga art, while Okushō wrote the story. The team transferred the manga to the Weekly Shōnen Magazine in January 2015, but returned it to Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in June 2018.
Finally, the team has been producing a live-action adaptation since 2018, but Kodansha confirmed the cancellation of the project "Due to various circumstances."
