The famous anime based on the manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, “ Death Note ”, will be released in Brazil on DVD. Sites already list the pre-sale of the box for July 23rd and Playarte will release the animation in a three-disc box.
The manga follows the story of Raito (Light) Yagami, a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook, which causes the death of whoever has his name written in it. Raito then starts killing all criminals and tries to create a world where evil does not exist, but his plans are thwarted by L, the greatest private detective in the world.
The Warner Bros. film will be based on the first three volumes of 'Death Note', published in Brazil by publisher JBC.
