Death Note: Killer Within , Bandai Namco 's multiplayer game , will receive new playable papers in the summer of 2025. The news was revealed during the company's summer showcase My Hero Academy: All's Justice and Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree .
Launched on November 5, 2024 for PlayStation 4 , PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam) , the game puts up to ten players in intense matches between the Kira L -led research team . While Kira's followers try to eliminate targets with the deadly notebook, investigators need to find out who the real killer is and preventing new crimes.

As shown in the latest trailer, players will be able to take on new roles, inspired by chess pieces seen in the original anime. Therefore, in addition to the known faces, other characters will add even more strategy to the matches.
