Netflix has just announced a new live-action “Death note” series , this time produced by the Duffer brothers (Stranger Things) at Upside Down Pictures .
Therefore, both brothers will produce a new live-action series based on the manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata .
Synopsis:
A student suddenly finds a notebook that fell from the sky. This is the Death Note, which allows its holder to kill anyone by simply writing down the target's name on one of its pages. Under the influence of Ruyk, owner of the notebook, he starts to use it to eliminate criminals and people who have escaped justice.
Finally, the company did not reveal many details, this new live-action series not have any relationship with the film adaptation of Death Note released by Netflix in 2017.
