Netflix has just announced a new live-action series of “ Death Note ”, this time produced by the Duffer brothers (Stranger Things) at Upside Down Pictures .

Therefore, both brothers will produce a new live-action series based on the manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata .

Synopsis:

A student suddenly finds a notebook that has fallen from the sky. It's the Death Note, which allows its bearer to kill anyone by simply writing their target's name on one of its pages. Under the influence of Ruyk, the notebook's owner, he begins using it to eliminate criminals and those who have escaped justice.

Finally, the company did not reveal many details, this new live-action series not have any relation to the film adaptation of Death Note released by Netflix in 2017.
