NTV broadcaster released 2 promotional videos for the live-action series Death Note . According to information, the series has a completely original story.

Kento Yamazaki (L-DK, Mare) will play the protagonist L, while Light Yagami will be played by Masataka Kubota, Akira Kiyosato from the Rurouni Kenshin live-action film. Completing the trio, Mio Yuki (Assassination Classroom) will play Near.
Finally, the story is completely original, the series arrives on July 5th in Japan.
