NTV has released two promotional videos for the live-action series Death Note . According to reports, the series has an entirely original story .

Kento Yamazaki (L-DK, Mare) will play the protagonist L, while Light Yagami will be played by Masataka Kubota, Akira Kiyosato from the live-action Rurouni Kenshin film. Completing the trio is Mio Yuki (Assassination Classroom) as Near.

Finally, the story is completely original, the series arrives on July 5th in Japan.
