The new anime Deep Insanity: The Lost Child will have 12 episodes . According to the official website , the series premiered today, October 12th, in Japan .
Synopsis:
The anime will take place in a world dominated by the mysterious "Randolph Syndrome," which causes sudden coma. Simultaneously, an underground kingdom called "Asylum" has been discovered at the South Pole as the origin of the syndrome. Strange creatures, unlike any others on the surface, inhabit it, with previously unknown natural resources. To cure Randolph Syndrome (and to enrich themselves by plundering the creatures' genetic data and underground resources), people have set foot in the kingdom of Asylum.
