Deep Insanity franchise to get anime in October

Square Enix has announced an anime of the Deep Insanity franchise . According to the official website, the series is titled Deep Insanity: The Lost Child .

Synopsis:

The anime will be set in a world dominated by the mysterious "Randolph syndrome," which causes sudden coma. Simultaneously, an underground realm called "Asylum" was discovered at the South Pole as the origin of the syndrome. Strange creatures, unlike any other on the surface, inhabit it with previously unknown natural resources. To cure Randolph syndrome (and to enrich themselves by plundering the creatures' genetic data and underground resources), people set foot in the realm of Asylum.
