The manga Dekin no Mogura by author Natsumi Eguchi has had its anime adaptation announced. However, fans can now watch the first teaser and promotional image from the series.

Therefore, the premiere takes place in July 2025 with animation from the studio Brain's Base (Fumetsu no Anata e, In/Spectre). Directed by Hiroshi Ishiotori with character designer by Yoko Tanabe.
The series mixes the bizarre and the comical to explore the mysteries of our world, where the living and spirits connect. A peculiar and immortal story is about to begin!
Dekin no Mogura Synopsis:
“I was banished from the other world, so I can’t die.” Mogura, a suspicious-looking self-proclaimed “sage,” has been banished from the spirit world and now attempts to return by collecting the “flames” of souls in his lantern. They say that when you come across him, you start to see strange things...
Therefore Dekin no Mogura is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsumi Eguchi. The work began to be serialized in April 2021 in the seinen manga magazine Morning, published by Kodansha in Japan.
