Synopsis:

The story takes place in the Shinjuku district of Shinjuku. The dazzling prosperity of this enormous city-state hides a sinister darkness just beneath its surface. It is here—in this megalopolis that represents the pinnacle of human development—that the legendary Demon Lord Veltol makes his second coming. To rule this brave new world, he must seize the future for himself!

Finally, the novel Demon Lord 2099 (Maou 2099) premiered in January 2021. Kiiro Akashiro is the artist of the manga adaptation in Shōnen Ace+ magazine.
