Synopsis

The Demon Lord continues his adventure in this reimagined series! After encountering the mysterious entity in the lowest level of Bastille Prison, he sets off for the Hellion Territory, where Great Demons vie for domination of the realm. With the addition of a new advisor—the (seemingly) optimistic Akane—the Demon Lord's army becomes even more diverse, and his antics even more wacky.

Kanzaki began publishing the novels with illustrations by Kouji Ogata through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2016. Subsequently, the publisher Futabasha began publishing them in print through the Monster Bunko in June 2017. In turn, a manga adaptation with illustrations by Amaru Minotake Monster Comics imprint on Futabasha 's Comic Action website between October 2017 and December 2019.

Finally, the Demon Lord, Retry! series has 1.9 million copies in circulation.
