The official Twitter account for the light novel "Demon Lord, Retry!" by Kurone Kanzaki has announced that the sequel to the novel, titled "Demon Lord, Retry! R", will receive an anime adaptation.

Synopsis
The Demon Lord continues his adventure in this reimagined series! After encountering the mysterious entity in the lowest level of Bastille Prison, he sets off for the Hellion Territory, where Great Demons vie for domination of the realm. With the addition of a new advisor—the (seemingly) optimistic Akane—the Demon Lord's army becomes even more diverse, and his antics even more wacky.
Minotake launched the manga "Demon Lord, Retry! R" on Futabasha's Gaugau Monster website and app in March 2020. Futabasha published the manga's sixth volume on January 13 and will publish the seventh volume starting on August 30.
The Demon Lord, Retry! series has 1.9 million copies in circulation.
