The official Twitter account for the light novel “Demon Lord, Retry!”, by Kurone Kanzaki, announced that the sequel to the work, titled “Demon Lord, Retry! R” will receive an anime adaptation.

Synopsis
The Demon Lord continues his adventure in this reconfigured series! After encountering the mysterious entity in the lowest level of Bastille Prison, he leaves for the Hellion Territory, where Great Demons compete for domination of the kingdom. With the addition of a new advisor – the (seemingly) optimistic Akane – the Demon Lord's army becomes even more diverse, and his antics even crazier.
Minotake released the manga “Demon Lord, Retry! R” on Futabasha's Gaugau Monster website and app in March 2020. Futabasha published the sixth volume of the manga on January 13th and will publish the seventh volume starting on August 30th.
The Demon Lord series, Retry! It has 1.9 million copies in circulation.
